This was a commissioned piece from a friend who wanted a cross carved into their Elk euro mount. I carved a Byzantine cross into the design and added five ivory pieces, taken from the ivory bugling teeth, to represent the five wounds of Christ. The carving was then lightly burned to add a masculine rustic touch to the design.
