This piece marks a significant milestone in my artistic journey, showcasing the dedication and time invested in every detail. The eleven new pencils I wore down to the nub demonstrate the intensity and commitment to achieving the nuanced textures and contrasts. The blurred and abstract elements in both the background and foreground serve to enhance the focal point—the magnificent Bull Elk.
